The optical termination box provides inter-connecting capabilities in the indoor equipment rooms or outside of optical environment. Featuring mechanical and environmental protection for both fiber and its components, it provides a transition point between outside plant cable and patch cords in fiber optic network. It is designed with controls that maintain the fiber bend radius throughout the unit on the segregated customer and provider sides. For convenient cable management, they provide termination, splicing and storage functions for fiber optic cable systems.
